Cindy Valade holds a BA Degree from Columbia College in Chicago, IL. While there, she studied Photography under Pulitzer Prize winning Photographer John White. Under his tutelage she honed her craft and built on her passion for Photography and Photojournalism. Cindy was a successful freelance photographer in Chicago where she was repeatedly called upon to shoot events for prominent clients, including a large international publishing company. Her shots were often published in their most successful magazine.

In 2002 the lighting, architecture, culture, and topography of New Mexico drew Cindy to the Land of Enchantment. While in New Mexico Cindy garnered numerous awards. working professionally shooting Commercial Real Estate, Portraits, Events and Fine Art Photography.

When Cindy became a Mom in 2005 and again in 2007 she put her career on hold to focus on her girls. Along with her husband and two kids, Cindy moved to Divide in 2010. With her girls in school, Cindy resumed her Photography career and her art has been well-received. Cindy has quickly establishing herself as one the top wedding photographers in the area. In addition to wedding photography, Cindy’s busy schedule includes working as lead photographer for a local newspaper, commercial photography, real estate photography, family portraits and senior pictures.
